Working in partnership with the Wessex Film and Sound Archive, New Dimensions has commissioned Grasscut to create a new work which celebrates and reimagines the wealth of material contained in the archive.

Grasscut are composer/producer/vocalist/musician Andrew Phillips and manager/musician/writer Marcus O’Dair. They have released three acclaimed albums, and have a particular interest in landscape and film. For this project they will be collaborating with Dan Vernon, a BAFTA-winning documentary filmmaker, to create a new impressionistic film with an original score.

The new work will be launched early in 2018 with a special screening event, details to follow.
